Catherine Feeny and Chris Johnedis continue to ride the wave of their self-titled debut lp. Hot off their live session at OPB Music, Feeny and Johnedis will hit Northern California for a string of dates this week. Armed with a ukelele, drums, and looped guitar, the duo relies on Feeny’s masterful songwriting and powerful voice, and their interplay with Johnedis’ abstract counter-rhythms. Together, Catherine Feeny and Chris Johnedis play music that feels at once challenging and ground-breaking, yet immediately accessible.
